Objects moving along tracks

What is the problem? Video objects are moving each other on a track
When and how does it occur? Objects on the same track
What type of hardware are you using? Dell Latitude E7440 laptop
Which operating system are you using? Windows 7 Professional
What's the name of the software you are using and what's the version number? Magix 2016 Edit Pro Premium

I have a video I'm editing with a track of video clips. I've been moving them successfully but now I can't move an individual object in the track without moving everything.

For example: if object A is next to object B, C, and D and I want to move A to an earlier timepoint it moves B, C, and D.

This is throwing off the timing of the entire video every time I need to make a minor change. Why is this? Is there a setting I need to change?

Thank you

Hi

The problem is most likely caused by having the mouse mode set to the wrong seting - these are:

Mode Keyboard shortcut
Single object      6
Single track      8
All tracks      7

To switch between modes use the keyboard shortcut above or click the appropriate mouse mode button just above the timeline.

If you have not done so I would suggest you read the installed PDF manual available under Help

That was it! Thanks. I looked all over the manual but didn't recognize that one.
