Is there a way if applying an effect in a variable way on an object?
I would like to apply some distortion that varies over the course of an 8bar vocal object, and then record and reuse the result, but can't work out how. Excuse my newbee comment!
That would be cool! The best solution i can think of is to apply the distortion in full, but keep a copy of the clean version. Have both objects playing in sync, and use volume automation to blend between the two (like cross fading). It won't sound *exactly* the same as what you are asking for, but it'll get the job done.
