Magix dvd 7 is now installed and it is not picking up the easycap usb driver - only my webcam. It is all plugged in properly - any ideas where I can get one

Without more information we are guessing.
What is your operating system and computer specification and are you referring to Movies on DVD 7.
If you are using Windows 7 and Movies on DVD 7 then you have old software which may not compatable with a new operating system, some parts may work and some not . Certainly the USB device drivers will not be recognised or possibly even installed.
However it may be possible that the USB drivers available here http://support2.magix.com/customer/en/download/tools may fix the problem - they are on page 2 select the correct ones for the USB device and operating system version.
