not loading

Why doesnt' my copy of "Movie Edit Pro 16" load in my HP Pavillion ?
AMD Athion 64 Processor 3400+,2.210 GHz.
Neither the CD Player nor the DVD player respond.
They both play other discs perfectly, but flicker briefly and do nothing when Movie Edit is inserted.
When I click on "drives" under "computer" Im told to "Insert Disc"even while Movie Edit disc in in.
Help !

Could be a faulty disk or sometimes a disk wont play on a particular machine . .. I've had this from time to time. If you have access to another PC try reading it in this and if you can then copy the files onto a memory stick and transfer to your own PC for loading. Failing that then you should contact magix.

Im having the same problem :\ it wont let me copy it to anything, says something about copyright >.< u figure it out?
