not able to record tape or vinyl

I can load or copy files ok, when i try to record from a tape or vinyl it does not recognize input

@Marion-Russell Please make sure that microphone recording permissions for Desktop Apps are enabled in the Windows security settings. Otherwise recording will get blocked by Windows.
