Yes, the NR-2.0 suite (32 & 64 bit) is included with SF Pro 12.. as well as iZotope's RX Elements and Ozone Elements. All are install options in the main installer menu, along with Pro-12, 32 and 64 bit.

Some Direct X plug-ins do not work in Pro 12 though. In my case, the iZotope/Sound Forge mastering suites I & II and the Sonitus' Ultrafunk suite. All other DX plugs I have function normally. I haven't tried the SF Pro 12 32 bit version yet. I suspect those DX plus will work with that. I think both 32 and 64 bit versions can be installed, but I have not tried it yet.

Hi Rick, Thanks for the info! I am currently using SF 10 and have no issues. I'm just trying to weigh out the added features and benefits to 12 to see if I wan't to move forward. I figured they didn't take anything away, but it never hurts to check. Thanks again for your time!

SF Pro 12 is much snappier. The GUI is basically the same as previous versions, except for some of the toolbar icons, so you'll probably feel right at home. An idiotic (IMO) change did happen with Pro 11 though, which carried over to Pro12. SCS changed the record and plug-in chainer UI, removing the remote record feature and added extra steps to set up both. I keep Pro 10 installed for recording and when I need my favorite DX plug-ins that don't work on a 64 bit host. Otherwise I like Pro 12.

Hi Rick, again... thanks a bunch for your input on the new SF Pro 12. I updated consecutively from 6 - 10 and didn't bother with 11 (for the reasons you mentioned and the fact that I felt they really didn't do anything earth shattering). 12 Has my interest tho. I wish they would have integrated CD Architect into it (or brought it back for that matter). I find that CD creation in SF is a bit clunky in comparison.

I use SF for restoration and preservation of old formats (cylinders, magnetic tape, wire, etc). The Sonic Foundry guys really did their homework with NR 2.0 for this application. With some discipline, you can get some very good results with it (especially in its day). Otherwise, I use Sonnox Restore and Waves Restoration (both have minor issues in SF 10). Both software makers claim they work perfectly in SF 12 which is part of my motivation. Once I get my new studio PC finished, I look forward to giving it a try.

I still use CD Arc 5.2 in the rare occurrence an audio CD is needed. If you need the installer, its available on the Magix Service Center> My Products. and your serial #s should be there... if the products were registered... listings include the legacy products from SCS and SoFo.

Hi Rick, All my previously purchased and registered software were boxed versions so I have the original software and license keys. It would be nice to have access to the most recent version downloads tho. Strangely... I went to the link you gave and did not see any “My Products” area. I use to be able to log onto SCS and view all my purchased products. Hopefully MAGIX has this legacy database now.

So.. when you go to the Magix ,

and log in using your forum Username (your E-mail) and Password you should get this with the 'My Products' category. If your email address has changed since you registered the products with SCS and/or SoFo, that may explain it. You could try to re-register your serial #s in 'Product Registration' or contact Customer Service.
