No Video Signal

I have up till now, used the Vdieo Easy REscue, and the following driver for theVideo Grabber, but I got no Video Signdal. I even have bought the newest version for Windows 10 at our Local Store here. I got Sound but no Video in the Display/ Monitor. I tried from a VHS player, and I also had trouble before I bought this new version. Is this a Windows 10 Issue or a quick Fix? I have got a lot of Digitizing Assignments waiting for me, but as long as the Software is not able to Import the Videos, I have Trouble In Paradise....So I hope someone can help me here...

Best Regards,

Hi

. . . .  Is this a Windows 10 Issue or a quick Fix?  . . . .

Open Windows settings, Privacy & security and check in the Camera option Let desktop apps access your camera is turned on.

If that does not fix the issue, download and install the correct driver from here.

Hi

Has Video Easy been working on your computer before getting the new version?

We need to eliminate a few potential causes of the issue.

. . . .  bought the newest version for Windows 10  . . . .

Is this a new install of Windows 10, an upgrade from a previous version of Windows, or a new computer?

Assuming the USB capture device is seen in the capture device options within Video Easy check if:-

  • The SCART plug switch is set to Out if using this connector.

  • The correct input - Composite or S-Video in use is selected.

  • The graphics output set to the correct graphics card installed in the computer, if there are 2 then try the other graphics in the option shown below

If none of the above fix the issue what is the specification of your computer system including Windows version and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s)you are working with if this is a laptop.
