No sound through computer speakers

I just recently downloaded Music Maker, and I'm starting out new, no experience. There is no sound though coming out of my laptop speakers, is there anyway to change audio output, I can't seem to find the settings option either. Any help would be appreciated

Before asking a question please use the search function to see if an issue you are having has been raised before - in this case you will find that this has been asked many times before.

Also I would suggest you read the installed PDF manual that is available under Help in the program.
