No Sound from Music Maker

I installed Music Maker Premium and tried the demo song. My computer is set with sound and works with ALL my other sound programs but this one. I see that as the program runs there is indication that the speaker shows activity but no sound is coming from the speaker on my PC from ONLY this program. I noted some others have experienced the same problem but have not seen any resolution.

If you are using an external audio device for recording or playback also see this post.

If neither of those help we need more information

Computer specification - processor make/model, graphics card or chipset, RAM, hard drive configuration, sizes and free space?
Windows version and is it up to date? Press and hold down the Windows key and the R key - in the dialog that opens type in winver and press enter.
Software full name and version number - as found under Help, About . . .
A screen shot of the Audio tab in the programs settings may help.
