No sound card found when in Record area

This is a Windows 10 desktop computer with Audio Cleaning Lab version 22.2.

When in record area, I hit record and box appears saying 'no sound card found'. In Settings for Record, I looked at the audio input and nothing is there. I clicked on the drop down box and there are no choices. The drop down area is blank. In the Options/Playback Parameters menu sound card did show in that area for audio input. Sound cards are installed correctly but don't show in Audio Cleaning Lab Record section.

If you check start+run then mmsys.cpl is the sound card listed and enabled under the "Recording" tab

If so, then go {Winkey}+i, then go to privacy. Then make sure "Microphone access for this device is on". Change if necessary.
