I am having trouble with exporting. The short video will either play on my phone with no sound or not play at all. Also when trying to share on WhatsApp, It will not send and closes down the app. PLEASE HELP it's driving me crazy
WatsApp has a 16MB limit on all video and photo uploads. So your video file must not be larger than 16MBs.
Having not heard of this app I looked it up and downloaded it. It's a curious app. Seeing the WatsApp file limits I chose to export the 22 second clip I used using the lowest quality setting. The resulting file was 24.5MBs.
So I shortened the length of the video clip to 15 seconds. The export was still 24.5 MBs. 5 seconds, still 24.5 MBs.
Higher quality settings resulted in larger but equal sized files despite the run time.
So in short this app is not going to give you files you can share with WatsApp if WatsApp won't break the file down to shorter clips (which is what it normally does).
There may be another program that can convert your files to a smaller file size but the quality may suffer.
There does seem to be something wrong with this app.
Media Info gives the correct run time but Windows does not. Even when the video is cut in length in the application and exported the file remains at its complete length. It's no wonder the file size does not change.
In light of this finding it may be possible to make files that will work with WatsApp but I suggest using a single file less than 15 seconds long and keep the export setting to low. I had no sound issues on playback. Are you using an iPhone?
Did you at least review the exported video before uploading it? Does it play back on you computer with Window Media Player or something else (indicate what you use to view videos?
