The music maker always comes up with a message saying that the sample rate could not be set and that the soundcard may have an external link. The music maker will not make any sound. How do I fix this?
is where you see your 8 to 99 track selections .and audio sample rate .use 44.1 khz when using the synthesizers , and also have your sound card in "Windows audio properties" set to 44.1 khz . Big Note : only change\select Window's sound card settings , when ALL apps. are closed .
menu : File-->Program Settings is where all the action is .
in the MIDI Tab , choose to use "Magix Low Latency ( 1 + 2 )" driver . right below that is a "Settings" button . click it to open the black dialogue box . see the wrench at the lower Right corner ? click the Wrench . the Wrench now has a Bix Red X on it .
on the left side , you see a list of your sound cards . select the sound card you have chosen in Window's audio Properties . click X at Top right to close , click Ok or Save changes to close properties . I would also close Music Maker , since you just changed sound card drivers . re-launch and it should all work .
