No Response in Edit Mode Movie Pro 15 Plus

HELP PLEASE!

I am using Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus and up until this morning its been running just fine.

Heres the issue:   Opening and loading are fine however, when I click Edit or double click the "picture box" in the bottom left that takes you to Edit, Windows says the program will not respond and shuts it down.  I've tried multiple projects and even new ones all with the same issue.  Once I click to go Edit it supposedly stops responding and closes.

I recently combined 2 projects into 1, which was the first time I ever tried to do this function,  I believe this may have been the issue BUT I deleted the projects entirely and it still had the same issue.

Heres the kicker.  I uninstalled the entire program and reinstalled and it STILL does it.  The only thing that was not uninstalled were the bonus programs and my projects which it seems were not touched during uninstall.

What do I do?  Should I wipe all files from this program off my PC and reinstall fully?  If so, the uninstall did not do this on its own.  If this is the step I should take, will deleting the folders be enough?

I hope someone can help me because I have multiple projects to work on.

Thanks to anyone that can help!

Hi

Search your hard drive for the movieedit.ini file, you should find 2, and delete them.

Restart MEP it will recreate the ini file. and hopefully cure your problem.

John thank you oh so very much.  I did your exact answer and it worked! I appreciate your knowledge and willingness to help.  I'm not going to try adding 2 projects again until I know for a fact how to do it.  haha  Thanks again!
