No possibility to choose pitches

Oleg-Dorofeev wrote on 11/30/2018, 3:34 PM

Hi! I got Music Maker Premium 2019. According to the manual, there is an option to choose between scales and not only use the C-major scale notes basically provided by Magix. It is written in the manual (p. 36) that there should be a pop-up arrow on the right of the soundpool placed on the tool bar and you can choose between the notes of other scales by clicking it. But I simply do not have this arrow! So that "pitch" option in the left section of the toolbar is inactive at all. Here is the screenshot. Can somebody tell what is the problem? Maybe this is because I did not activate my Premium version? But on the other hand, I can not do the activation for some reason neither through the Music Maker, nor through the website - they simply do not produce the activation key.

Thanks!

I guess it's in the additional features, probably the creative suite, that you add when your program is activated/registered. I certainly have that option. So you will need to sort out activation.

Hi,

I assume that the dropdown is called the Pitch Assistant. To get this, you need to purchase the Creative Suite feature, either alone, or get Plus or Premium and add in this feature. Note that buying things piecemeal is the most expensive option.

I am confused!!

As indicated by other replies, only the Plus and (preferable) Premium versions offer you access to the facilities you want to use. You write that you did not activate my Premium version but then go on to say they do not produce the activation key.

Activation is effected when you insert into the activation screen a serial number which Magix will supply, usually, by email, when you buy either the Plus or Premium versions. You seem to believe that the activation key is created when you click on the activation screen; it isn't! Buying the upgrade will result in you receiving that key, which you then enter into the box on the activation screen.

So, have you actually bought MM Premium 2019, not just installed the Free version?

Thanks a lot for the support! The issue really was with Creative Suite - you can not change pitches (standard C-major) until you install the Creative Suite add-on. Now it works!
