Maybe this question is asked a 100 times but i can't find it in the list. So here is it, i've produced a song and wanted to export the file as mp3. However the program gave an error that said: "There are MIDI objects in the corresponding range. Activate track VST instruments in the corresponding tracks so that the MIDI information in the created file is audible.

I didn't use a external keybord or something but 9 out of 12 layers were gone and when i opened the Magix music maker 2014 premium program and listned to my song. The beautifull guitars, drums etc had changed to awfull piano's that banged on and on will someone please help me??

Hello,

I use the Samplitude Music Studio 2014 together with a Keyboard and have a similar problem with the export of a Midi-file from my song.

May be we can help each other. I have produced a mp3-File from my Midi-Song in the following way:

All the Instruments used are situated in my keyboard. I have connected both devices by a bidirectonal Midi-line via USB and in addition by an audi-line from the KB-Output port to my Soundcard-Input (in-line).

When I listen to the Midi-Songs, they are played on my KB and not on my PC. To get the audio-signal from the Instruments/voices to my computer I used the Audi-line connection.

Thus I have introduced a further empty audio-Track to the Project and have switched the input of that Track to the Audio-Input-Port (due to using an Asio-driver the name has changed). The Output-port is the Master-Mixer.

Then I activate the red point swicht (record) and got the desired audio track by plying the song. Than it is easy to export only that single track to wave or mp3.

What can you learn from that example?

Connect each track with your desired Instrument. You can control the sound by your speakers. If all Instuments are situated on your PC you have to choose the intrument at each track. And normally you can directly connect to the Master output. If some Instruments are outside the PC, you need an audio back line.

Greetings
