@Filipe-Sousa

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

First, exactly which version of Movie Edit Pro Premium do you have? You can check under Help>About in the program.

Have you ensured that the track with the your video on does not have its Mute button highlighted, especially if you have video and audio on separate tracks. See image below

This is using Movie Studio 2023, so a later version than you have but the icon should be the same or very similar. The fact that the M is highlighted means the video is turned off but the audio can still be heard.

If that is not the reason for you not seeing any video please give us a lot more information!:

  1. Please read this post and tell us a lot more about your computer. Please put all that information into your signature then it will always be available in any post you make.
  2. Then, follow this tutorial to give us a detailed analysis of the actual video file you are using.

Funny you should use the term "off", Jeff. I will elaborate further shortly! 😁😂

All my forum comments are based on or refer to my System 1.

My struggle is over! I built my (now) system 2 in 2011 when DV was king and MPEG 2 was just coming onto the scene and I needed a more powerful system to cope. Since then we've advanced to MP4 and to bigger and bigger resolutions. I was really suffering, not so much in editing (with proxies) but in encoding, which just took ages. A video, with Neat Video noise reduction applied, would encode at 12% of film speed. My new system 1 does the same job at 160% of film speed. Marvellous. I'm keeping my old system as a capture station for analogue video tapes and DV.

Dear @emmrecs

Thanks for your post, I am using Magix Edit Pro Premium Version 20.01.80 (UDP3), following your instructions, I found that the Track showing S,M,and the Lock icons are in Gray color. The lock icon is also on locked prosition, I managed to unlock it but could not, it seems all are locked. This happens to all tracks too. Is that the problem that I am experiencing? Any helpful advises and instructions.

Thanks for your concern.

Filipe
