No audio on my videos Help

I just purchased Movie studio suite 2023 and when I import a video I recorded there is no audio. I record gaming from my PlayStation and other systems using Hauppage HD PVR 2 Gaming edition and the video footage, game audio and my own voice audio(yeti mic) always recorded and are in separate tracks. But NOW with this new suite version there’s zero audio and no tracks. I’ve tried separating the Audio track from the video but it still shows nothing. Some of my videos have just the game audio but none of my voice recorded with it but most have no audio at all. My files open and work fine on the older version but I want to use this new version I just purchased. I’m hoping it’s a simple fix, if anybody could help me please.

@Daniel-Sanchez9066 Hi, when you say 'older version', which version are you ref to?

If you've upgraded from Movie Studio 17 pls note these are totally different programs,

PS. there's an App called MediaInfo, download it, it's free & a fast download with no added adverts or any of that rubbish. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo,

After downloading, right click on the media file in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the options at the top, Copy & paste the information in a new comment on here 👍

Have a look at this comment by @Browj2 about separating audio channels https://www.magix.info/us/forum/movie-studio-2022-cannot-separate-multiple-audio-tracks--1289528/#ca1733766

Hi,

Further to what Gid mentioned, other than having video that is possibly variable frame rate, thus difficult for a video editing program, it seems like you have multiple channels.

Watch this tutorial about how to get the two channels:
