Simply download and install the latest version of Music Maker at MAGIX.com - https://www.magix.com/gb/music/music-maker/ - log in to Music Maker with your account, and you're done.
Tip: There are many 64-bit updates for functions and plug-ins for the new version. You can find the updates in the Music Maker download manager.

Not quite, I have found that if you use Instrument VST's then only the 64 bit ones are useable.
If you load an existing project using 32 bit VST's, it they do not work as the VST-Bridge is not included when using the previous versions serial number.
Without purchasing the VST-Bridge your only option is to is to reset each instrument used in a project to 64 bit versions. This also renders the project none backwards compatible.
Additionally I have found that it is necessary to double the size of the Multitrack and preview buffers to achieve click and pop free playback of the timeline.
Added: if you elect to install replacing the previous version there is no going back other than a complete re-install, if installed without replacing the old version still works.
You don't need to pay anything. Just download and install the free version of the 64 bit version keeping the old version, log in, and download (and install) anything that is marked New or Updated in the Download manager. You will also have to rescan the Soundpools so that the new version knows where they are.
That's it. You'll have everything that you had before plus the 64 bit version.
If you want the new features and more credits for instruments, Soundpools, then, and only then, purchase the new Premium version. Remember, the program is free; you are just paying for other stuff. Look at the list in the comparison chart to see what is new, what comes with Plus and Premium when you pay.
Thank you I have followed your advice, free version does work and I am able load all my sound pools & features once logged in to my account, I did not think this was possible but all works ok as of yet have not downloaded all instruments so am not sure if they will be in 64bit in the new 29.0.013 or remain in 32bit? if so as mentioned above I can see they have a feature called VST Bridge that makes this compatible. Once again thank you for information, I was concerned as I thought yet another purchase was ready to burn a whole in my wallet.
If the instruments (from Magix?) were installed, then they should still be there and work once you have logged in within MMM2021. Mine did and show up as 64 bit in the list. However, there were a couple, in particular, DN-e1 that have a 64 bit version that I had to do separately. It showed up on the download list. Of course, you will need the 64 bit version of any third party instruments that you have.
Let us know when you get all of your instruments set up.
I have the Store download error, now requires 23 clicks to get rid of.
One Soundpool and 5 Instruments repeatedly want to download, install, close down, restart they are gone want to install again - files are present in the appropriate locations, resetting Store cache does not fix.
MMM log is indicating a fatal error looking for a dll
I've installed the free version as an additional installation rather than a replacement. The strange things I've seen is that although Concert Grand LE is added to the default project it is not listed as an available instrument. Revolta 2 is no available although it is in the Magix instruments folder for this version.
I don't have that dll problem, perhaps as I don't have the component installed (Visuals?). It's not in the folder and Music Maker doesn't request it.
Revolta 2 showed up on the downloads list, so I downloaded and installed it even though I should have already had it. In fact, I think that there were 2 Revoltas on the downloads list. Check there. Anything?
BTW, I installed the free version and it automatically accepted all of the previous activations once I logged in.

Hi John. It's not in my download list. However the Revolta presets were and when I installed those it appeared on restart. I've also found Concert Grand. The Magix instruments are included in the list of vst instruments rather than the usual Magix instrument listing. They didn't appear first time but after a rescan of the vst folder (they are not here) they appeared in this list.
