NEW Music Maker 2015 Preminum

The Auto Tune option appears to not have the same utililties that the "elastic audio" has in the Magix Music Maker 2013 version.  The "Auto Tune" option provided in the MM 2015 version does not have the harmonies and the "T-Pain" type audio adjustments, unless they are hidden in another window option.  Is this the case or have these options been omitted in Magix Music Maker 2015 version?  Please advise, anyone.

Hi,

I like your persistence.

This is a user forum and no one here works for Magix, so your question about regaining the functionality of Elastic Audio should be sent to Magix.

I have never had elastic audio as I only had MMM2013 basic, so I don't know exactly what it did.. I have MMM2015 PREMIUM.

Do you have MMM2015 PREMIUM?

Elastic Audio was a third party addon, I believe. Do a search on his forum for elastic to see similar questions.

My understanding is that Elastic Audio has been replaced by Vocal Tune 2. There is also Harmony recognition and Time-stretching and pitch-shifting for vocal solos, speech or solo instruments.• Resampling: Pitch shift and tempo cannot be changed individually.

Here's more:

This effect device changes the object’s speed and/or pitch.Pitch: This control changes the pitch independently of the object’s speed (‘pitch-shifting’).Tempo: This control changes the tempo independently of the pitch ("time-stretching").The object acts as if it were compressed or stretched on the track.Tones/BPM: These fields are used to numerically enter the pitch or speed change. Only MAGIX Soundpool files are suitable for numeric entries because they are equipped withinformation regarding pitch and speed.Setup: This button opens a setup dialog where you can select various pitchshifting and timestretching procedures.

Standard: Timestretching and pitchshifting in standard quality. This method issuitable for audio material without a pronounced beat. Existing beat markers areevaluated to improve audio quality.

Smoothed: Timestretching and pitchshifting for audio material without pulsingelements. The method is suitable for several voice orchestra instruments, surfaces, speech and singing. Beat markers will not be evaluated.

Beat marker slicing: Beat-synchronous timestretching and pitchshifting via splittingand temporal repositioning. Precisely set beat markers are required at the beats ortransients. Markers can be generated in real time (automatically) or read out fromthe source file, as long as they are available (patched). In the Premium version's included MAGIX Music Editor, a patching tool is provided for users to set the markers themselves.

Beat marker stretching: Beat-synchronized timestretching and pitchshifting in highaudio quality. The material is stretched between beat markers positions so that theimpacts or attacks at the beat markers positions are not impaired by stretching. Themarkers can be generated in real time from the audio material (automatically),provided they are present (patched).

Beat marker stretching (smoothed): Beat-synchronized timestretching andpitchshifting in high audio quality, even with extreme time extension. Beat markersare used at the beats or transients. The markers can be generated in real time from the audio material (automatically), or read out from the wave file, provided they arepresent (patched).

Universal HQ: Universal method for timestretching and pitchshifting in very highaudio quality. Suitable for all types of audio material.

Monophonic voice: Time-stretching and pitch-shifting for vocal solos, speech orsolo instruments.• Resampling: Pitch shift and tempo cannot be changed individually. This methodrequires comparably little CPU time.

These are all detailed in the manual.

For T-Pain, I think that you can get the effect with the Vocoder.

Auto Tune was a third party VST plugin, I believe, and has been replaced by Vocal Tune 2, as I indicated above.

If you don't have MMM2015 PREMIUM, let me know specifically what you would like to see from the manual and I will post it.

HTH

Hi,

You can contact Magix support on their site at Magix.com. You will have to log in. Since you purchased MMM2015 you should already have an account - user name (email address) and password.

"Why is my MM 2015 Premium question so hard to understand and answer?"

Probably because most of us don't own MM-2015.  Therefore, we cannot answer questions about it with any certainty.

Hi,

I found Elastic Audio Easy (EAE) in Samplitude Music Studio 2013 (SMS2013). I presume that this is the same on that you have in MMM2013 Premium. It's not in the basic version. In SMS2015, it is now Vocal Tune 2, just like in MMM2015PREMIUM. It seems that EAE was replaced by Vocal Tune in both 2014 versions of MMM and SMS.

EA shows up in the new Samplitude Pro X2 version, just released. Scroll down to it in this link.

It seems that EAE has been replaced by Vocal Tune 2 and if you want EA you will have to buy Samplitude Pro X2. I believe that EA has also been upgraded to Version 3. See this link to zPlane.

You might be able to buy the plugins from zPlane. See this link. I don't know if they would work with MMM or SMS.

Once you have filed a ticket with Magix, someone will reply and you can have an email dialog with him. I prefer this to trying to talk to someone on the phone. Remember that they are in Germany and work local hours only. But, I think that you'll the same answers as I've given you.
