New MM update messes with my activation from former 2016 to 2019

I`ve got 2016 MM Premium and it have been work fine untill for a couple of week ago. It began to stop and pop`ed up with program failuer from time to times. I try`ed the new free MM version 27.0.0.16, typed in and activated my serialnumber for 2016 MM and it worked great, untill to day. An update were avaible, big one more than 800mb, i let it do it`s job...Now, it just like the free edition version, although it still have my former 2016 MM activation….why? What can i do, beside to purchase the program.

As this is a completely new version, it may be that you have to once again go under the Store and download and install all of the content that gets activated by 2016 Premium - instruments, presets, features, etc. When you select the first one that does not have a price, the download manager should open and should contain everything that has to be downloaded and installed.

Hi and thx very much John CB, it work gr8 again. For some reason i`ve got the same problem, as for MM 2016 Premium errors/failurs, so the problem is hunting me. Serval times, when working in the program, the program suddently pop`s up with this error (see pic.). I know it do this when MS have new updates, but all is upto date. I`ve got no clue of what the problem should be related to, ore how to solve this. I use; win 10 - and my processor; Intel core i7-2670qm-2,20ghz - assus g74s series. my soundcard is Steinberg-CI-1. I`ve got no problems with my pc, it`s clean and all software is upto date
