Hi, I have a brand new HP Q5EV71SP 2.3ghz

I have been using acid 7 for years now and love this software I know my way around it thoroughly. I have been recording some new songs and mid way through my laptop just stops! The keys work the cursor blinks the mouse works but it stops playing and won't play. I have tried to restart and it fires up and soon as I try to do anything it repeats. I am really frustrated and I have this laptop set up just for music Sony acid 7, no other programs or files or software. Please help, driving me mad, thanks Ian
