New install, song projects have silence spots on playback

I recently got a new PC on which I installed my activated Acid Pro 10 software. The song that comes with the software plays fine, any other older projects from new Pro 10 files load but playback with momentary bits of silence - every 10 seconds or so - I can't find a setting that can correct this issue - please advise -

@Thomas-Kupovics Are you using plugins that run in demo mode and insert silence?

Hmm - I hadn't thought of that - I can try stripping off any plugins that don't come from the install and see if that corrects the problem.
