I am not sure I know exactly what you are after but let me explain how I have done some titling things in the past.
I created a few full screen single color background .jpegs for my projects, at first I did this in Windows Paint, but later I started using the add-on program that Magix provided.
This gave me the ability to do a lot more with the text which is something I like to play around with. So my openning seen can be multimple backdrops
I did this simply bu crossfading multiple background colors together in one timeline like below:
Once I save this out as a file, I can reuse it over and over again or burn it as a intro file to my collection. I hope this is somewhat about what you were asking for...
what youve done is very cool and I hope to experiment with similar in the future, But I was hoping simply to stop the program from laying text over an existing scene and type it onto a black background and drop said at the begining and end of the movie. Spent an hour and a half between the desktop aND THE PRINTED MANUAL AND COULDN'T spot a clue on how to accomplish.
