Need help with samplitude format (2000s recordings)

Hello all,

We recorded all of our band songs using Windows/Samplitude back in the 2000s. Is there a way to open those files using a Mac so we can save them in a different format? ( I no longer have access to Windows computers )

On each song, I can see different formats, such as .hdp .VIP and .h0

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

@Richard-Vazquez

Welcome to the Magix users forums.

Samplitude is a Windows-only app and those file extensions you list are Magix-specific. Hence, I suspect there is no way for you to access them on a Mac, sorry.

Do you have a friend with a Windows computer who would be prepared to install a recent version of Samplitude and so allow you to at least access your old recordings?

Hi

. . . . I can see different formats, such as .hdp .VIP and .h0 . . .

Can you see any actual audio files eg WAV, MP3 etc - they should be in the same folder as the Magix files?
