NB filters GUI in MEP Premium 2018 17.0.1.148

Former user wrote on 12/3/2017, 11:32 PM

I notice the tutorials for all the NB plugins where it refers to selecting colours, it shows a colour picker. However, the GUI of the NB filter requires one to numerically enter the RGB components of the required colours rather than using the picker. Am I missing something? I've installed the latest version of the NewBLUE filters

Hi

. . . . Am I missing something? . . . .

No - most of the tutorials refer to the old NB interface. The new filters use the programs integrated OFX interface, this helps to maintain the same look throughout the program.

@johnebaker

Hi John EB,

That means that we are missing the colour picker from the OFX and have to do it manually. I tried a couple of the old NB colour pickers and couldn't find that they actually did something other than black. Maybe it's something to do with my Surface Pro.

Speaking of colour pickers, Magix indicated in the Magazine (scroll down) that some new features would be out in November, including "Color picker for text editors and new sliders for exact color temperature adjustments." I guess this has been changed to December.

Do the NB OFX effects now work for you in both MEP and VPX? Or do they still give a black screen?

Hi John CB

. . . . Do the NB OFX effects now work for you in both MEP and VPX? Or do they still give a black screen? . . . .

NB Video Essentials 3 and 4 (all) still give black screen.

NB Elements Picture grid gives occasional odd raster effect eg 1-3 A,B and C, first 2 images OK add third get the raster effect - export is OK

Note: NB Video Essentials 3 and 4 - old interface lose all effects tiles when apply effect, have to shutdown and restart MEP/VPX

NB Stylisers still get old interface and Flicker does not work - incompatibility message!

Apart from the above all the other NB OFX's work as expected.
