As a long time SF user under Sony, I find three jarring changes in the Magix version of SFAS:
- When saving a file, changing the file type clears whatever filename you had already entered. Why create more typing when I just change my mind about save format?
- Time Stretch used to be so much simpler and default to minutes:seconds. That seems like the logical default, not one of the more arcane meters it goes to now.
- Ditto for Effects>Dynamics. The settings here were simpler and faster to use and delivered great companding results without a lot of fiddling or a forest of cryptic presets.
It seems like Magix has tried to imbue SFAS with more "high end" UI and workflow, missing the point that this is *Audio Studio*, not Pro.
