my tape cassette file is too long for a cd, how do i cut it in two?

Get some scissors and ....just kidding....on your cassete play back, play back approx. 50 minutes worth and stop the cassette, burn your CD, resume playing the rest of tahe cassette and burn your second CD..

Another thought, if you have just the file, open it and if you have individual song names, create a copy of athe first 20 songs or so and rename it, then burn yur CD of thata file and burn a cd of the rest of the original file.
