Do you mean these blocks?

 

If so select  View, Arranger and turn off the Display pitch area option.

If you have not done so please read the installed PDF manual available under Help.

Yes your right on, the pitch area goes back to normal, but the soundpools area stays the same, then it becomes much hiccups in sound. I have gone to the backup area and there i found a backup before this happened, missing some of the track, but i can fix that. 

But if you have a clue have to get the soundpool/instrument area fixed i be happy

Can you post a screen shot cropped to the soundpool area to show us what the problem is?
