Ray - thanks for the comment. In reply:

(1) Vegas product refer to this website for support and information. If this is not appropriate why does Magix do this?

(2) You all seem very corporately minded - in this day and age how is it possible that a firm isolates itself from its customers? They take money but then do not provide any service. Few companies isolate themselves in this way.

(3) The post refers me to an e-mail address to submit a request. On that page I am told my inquiry will be dealt with in 1-2 days. Again, why is my time, as a paying customer, less important than companies?

(4) Locking the post repeatedly just reinforces the main point that you do not want "troublesome" interaction with customers

@james-Taiwan

Hi James.

I too would like to know where you found the link for this website for Vegas support. The program under help takes you to the Vegas users forum, as does the link in the pdf manual, as does the appropriate help web pages for Vegas products on the Magix website. If you have found an incorrect link on the Website report it here if you like with a screen shot and I will forward it to Magix via the same method we have asked you to use. We users have no priority over anyone else as far as I'm aware. At least I don't.

Most of the other points you should take up with Magix as I don't know the answers, being a user and not an employee. I do know a Google search will often take you here rather than to the Vegas users website. I've no idea why that happens but that is a problem with the Google search engine.

Posts are locked are far as I'm aware to stop further enquirers adding to a post that cannot be answered as any tips given here may not work on a Vegas product and few people here have a Vegas product to help to refer to or look for answers to alleviate a problem. Vegas has it's own set of problems and the majority of them are not connected to problems faced by Movie Edit Pro or Video Pro X users. They are the programs we mainly use here. Anyone doing a search for the programs dealt with here coming across a Vegas fix would find it probably not working or appropriate.

Why both sites have not been amalgamated may well be to stop people getting the wrong answers for their product but that is just a guess on my part.

Ray.

@james-Taiwan

Regrettably, I have to close yet another post from you.

These are NOT the forums for the Magix Vegas range of products. You have already been directed to the correct site for your product and question.

No-one who posts here is a Magix employee, we are all fellow-users.

Please do not attempt to post again to this forum or your access will be permanently blocked.
