My playback range marker doesn't end?

kocomg wrote on 4/6/2015, 9:14 PM

Hi, I have this problem in one of my projects and it's pretty frustrating. My playback range marker doesn't have an end point, and I cannot figure out how to get it back for the life of me. Since it disappeared I've been having all sorts of playback issues and it's extremely annoying. So if any of you know how to create an end marker please help me!!! (By the way, I'm using Magix Music Maker 2014)

Hi

I have had this issue in a previous version of MMM.

The cause was the end marker was hidden under the start marker, how it got there I am not sure, but once it was there it could not be seperated again.

It was fixed by resetting the program to its default settings - File, Settings, Rest program settings  . . .

Hi,

I have had limited success when that happens and have had to resort to a backup.

However, try this. Put an object on the arranger that is a few bars long. Double-click in the space beside that yellow bar at the top. This is supposed to get it to cover the entire song. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Does it work ok in a new project?

Same here - started Apr 7th in USA - Music Maker Prem 14 - no export functions - no red bar movement, no time bar functions.  Tried resetting all - no good - still no export functions, no time functions, no moving red maker.

Others have same issue, on same date - not a user caused action - no new update from Windows.

How does one report this to the programmers.

I don't know how, but I was able to get it back to normal. But I'll definitely keep that in mind for next time browj2. And yeah, it only didn't work in that one project.

I have red bar movement now.

Reinstalled Music Maker - did not work.

Checked for Windows updates - had two uninstalled optional updates.

One deals with day-light saving (old time first weekend in April).

Installed both updates - Music Maker works!

Hmm.. That's really odd that it would be there, but if it works it works. Haha! Thanks a lot for your answer MusicGuy

Go to the menu >view> Standard Layout option. Then the range bar will show the proportion (0:1 which is wrong), but now you can resize it and ake it bigger, like it it is supposed to work. :)

@RUBEN-MARTINEZ

Welcome to the Magix forums.

Did you notice you were resurrecting a thread whose previous post was created more than three years ago? I suspect your answer is quite correct for current version of MM but please do not re-open old threads, especially since there have been several upgrades to MM since the OP first asked the question.
