my PC has crashed. Can I get songs off it from another PC

My PC has crashed and I have a few songs on my Magix Music Maker Premium 2016. Is there a way of getting those songs off from another PC? If I was to download Magix Music Maker Premium 2016 on another PC would there be a way to get access to the crashed PC to get the Songs off?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi

. . . .  would there be a way to get access to the crashed PC to get the Songs off . . . .

That would depend on what the actual type of the crash is:-

Hard drive failure or not readable

most likely not, you would require sophisticated recovery tools or sending to a recovery specialist, both of which can be expensive.

Hard drive OK but will not boot

Take the hard drive out of the 'dead' computer and using a USB adapter or external USB hard drive enclosure to connect to the other PC via USB and copy the files / projects across.

Thanks John EB, i tried putting the hard drive onto another pc but it wouldn't allow me access to it. The message it gave me was "E:\ is not accessible. Data error (Cyclic redundancy check)." I have no idea what that means though. Thank you John.
