Well, how can we?  You've given us absolutely nothing to work with.

First off, why don't you tell us about your computer system?  CPU, RAM memory, video card, sound card, hard drive, OS (operating system, Windows,...), antivirus, etc....

Are ALL of your component drivers up to date?

How full is your hard drive?  Do you have more than one hard drive?

Are you running anything else while running MMM?

I appreciate the request for some info on my computer system.  However, I run a sophisticated system which runs many other resource hungry programmes without any problems often simultaneously (for example Coreldraw, pagemaker, Magix Samplitude, Microsoft Office etc) and it used to run Magix Music Maker 15 without any problems - so I believe that my system has the power to run most software.  However, I will say that it runs on Vista Home Edition and I know that Vista can have problems, though not in this computer to date (3Gig Ram).

What might be associated with this problem is that Magix Maker 17 appears in the Task Manager Processes AND CANNOT BE TERMINATED which may be connected to the problem.  As a result of this, after the crash, I get the message that Magix Maker 17 is already running and do I want to run two Magix Maker 17s at the same time?

Thank you for your interest

Hi - I have solved the problem.  I was running two versions of Magix MP3 Maker and Music Maker 17 was set to open and play whatever had just been exported in Magix Mp3 Maker and presumably couldn't decide which to open and therefore crashed.

After deleting the older version of Magix Mp3 Maker (12), It now exports, opens in Magix Mp3 maker 15, plays the track back and puts upa message that the export has been successful - which now gives one a great sense of confidence and achievement!!

Congratulations!

As you can see, there was no way for us to help you solve your problem since we had no idea you had one instance of MP3 Maker, let alone two.

Thank you for letting us know how you resolved your issue.  That rarely ever happens.  All too often, we have no idea if we've helped anyone and how (or if) their problem was finally resolved.
