I play guitar and am using Acid Pro 9. I want to be able to record my guitar and then convert my wave samples to work in Acid. I want the samples to be able to change keys and tempo like other samples. Can I do this.
Is is a very long time since I used Acid, however what I think you are wanting to do is create an 'acidized' loop or Acid Beatmapped file, these change tempo and pitch to match the Acid project.
The file needs to contain in the file header the time signature, original tempo, root note for transposition, and Downbeat offset.
There are several tutorials on the Internet on how to do this with various software.
Sound Forge Pro has the capability to create ACID loop and beatmapped files and the manual contains sections on how to do this.
Thanks I will give this a try. I really wanted to get a hold of Sales as I had an issue with my purchase of Acid Pro 9. Do you know how I can contact them. I already have a ticket that seams to get no response. Thanks for your guidance.
