Musicmaker 2025 Premium is not working for me.

Musicmaker 2025 Premium is not working for me.

I installed 2025 while keeping 2024 and it did not work in downloading my purchases.

I noticed that it does not have the option to log into my account.

I have removed 2024 and reinstalled 2025 but it did not work.

 2024 and 2025 to coexist on my PC now, but 2025 is still not working.

See attachments of 2024 premium with the correct interface and the 2025 without the sign in option.

Thanks

Any work around

@Shek
For MM2024 and earlier versions, you did need to log in.
For MM2025, you don't need to do a login, but you must enter a serial number (one time only for a new installation).

You have 2 screenshots that show the full Music Maker program window.  Both of these images show "Music Maker 2025 Premium" in the title bar (top-left corner).  This tells me two things:
1. there's some mix-up with the images you've uploaded, and
2. you actually do have MM2025 successfully installed and running.

And, again you're showing what looks like 2 of the same screenshot of the Downloads screen. It's not clear that anything is missing.

Also, you're showing part of the MM2024 start screen twice so again some mix-up with image uploads. There is another problem here. . . both these start screens show your email address  You don't want to do that in a public forum.  At minimum, you should delete those images from your post.  If you really do want to show an MM2024 start screen, then you should first edit it in a graphics editor to block out your email address.

Does this help resolve your issue?  If not, please post back again, with more info.

Note:  I have both MM2024 and MM2025 installed, but on different computers.  These are what my start screens look like:

Hi @gjonny. I was trying to show that I can log into 2024 fine but no login prompt in 2025

The problem is that my purchased loops are not loading.

I have manually downloaded them and every time I restart, I have to download the loops again and now the loops in 2024 are also not loading.

It looks like authentication issue on the download side.

I can't figure out how to edit the post for now. I will do that later.

Thanks

I just checked this thread -- I cannot edit my earlier post any more, I can only delete it.  So, there must be a time limit for editing a post.  You may need to have one of the forum moderators delete the images.

Regarding the loops. . .
As you say, there may be download problems, but to eliminate other possibilities, try these:
1. Verify the location for storing the soundpools (in Program Settings > Folders). This should be the same for both MM2024 and MM2025.  If you check with Windows File Explorer, do you see anything in that folder?
2. Rescan the soundpools (in Program Settings > General Options)

@gjonny

Hi.

The issue was resolved by me putting the Music maker folder back on drive C instead of the D drive - "trying to save space", which the program was temporarily able to use when I scan for sound pools but will lose the pools after I restart the program.

Thanks

Well, now I'm confused: you didn't mention changing folder locations previously.

Are you satisfied with your current setup?  If not, please post back, describing what you do want.

Note (this is an expanded version of what I said in a previous post):
Technically, other than there being sufficient storage space available, it shouldn't matter where the soundpools are located.  While you can change the soundpool location manually at a later time, you also have the option to change the location at the beginning of the Music Maker install process.  Assuming you installed MM2025 after MM2024, it (MM2025) will find and register the MM2024 soundpool location for itself.  In other words, you don't need two sets of soundpools, so you don't need to download the soundpools a second time.

@Shek, @gjonny

Hi

. . . . it shouldn't matter where the soundpools are located. . . .

I agree, providing the path is changed in the program settings.

However, there is one option that can cause issues, and that is using an external USB drive to put the files on.

Using external USB drives, as a 'working location', can be affected by the drive's power management, and/or Windows USB hub power management, powering down either or both, resulting in a delay in starting up when a data request or write request is made. If the USB hubs have been put into sleep mode and Windows go 'to sleep' they often do not wake up.

These effect can be minimised by setting the USB hub power management to 'never turn off', the drives own power management may not be accessible.

Yes, that's what I was aiming for, my comment could have been better worded.

@Hank-Hazard Serial numbers start with P3. If you have a coupon code you need to enter it here first to receive a serial number:

https://www.magix.com/redeem

Also, make sure to install the correct version.

For Music Maker 2024 try this link: https://dl03.magix.com/musicmaker.exe

Your serial number will not work in Music Maker 2025.

Ensure you are viewing the US site - click the globe top right of the homepage and select United States, prices will be displayed in US$.
