The program is trying to verify the copy-protection on the disc during the first start-up process. So, make sure the disc is still in the drive and run the program again. If you're on Vista, make sure to right-click on the program and choose "Run as Administrator". With full admin rights, the copy-protection authentication might work out, even if it didn't before.

That said, sometimes the authentication doesn't work out at all, as some disc drives just fail to read the hardware copy-protection properly and other software/filter drivers can conflict with the correct authentication. In this case, download and run the "Unlockmaster" tool, which you will find in the downloads/tools section on the Magix support website or contact Magix technical support directly. They will be able to assist you with this kind of issue.
