@David-Barselow

Hello, welcome

Try going into the program settings of Music Maker and click on the button to clean up the store. This will delete the old cache of the store. This could be helpful after upgrades and updates.

Reset the program settings under the File, Settings menu.

Can you tell me if loops unlimted have licensing limits or is it a open license with no limits on royalties

@David-Barselow Loops Unlimited are for non-commercial usage only. It's more or less a cheap way to test out all Soundpools before buying a commercial license.

David-Barselow wrote on 6/4/2022, 2:36 PM

Well that stinks, there is a competitor that offers more for less and no limits on licenses all is commercial free. I was really hoping that at least with the subscription there would be commercial free use. This way you explained just don't weight out why would a person want to pay the $19 a month when they can buy a soundpool for the same money and with so many free vst's out there these days. I don't understand it.

@David-Barselow Magix pays the musicians that record these Soundpools with the money you pay for a commercial license. In case your song becomes a big hit, they will never see a penny except the money you paid to buy the commercial license while you can keep all the incoming streaming service payments. It's a simple risk-and-reward system. Usually you will likely never see any significant money with loop based music. Some services like YouTube doesn't even allow loop based music to be monetized and there are lots of other problems like false copyright claims on royalty free loops.

@David-Barselow

You don't log into the Store, you log into the program as I already showed you in another thread. Once you're logged in an on the Music Maker interface, click on the Store button in the top menu to get the Store view to appear if it is not already shown.
