Hi Pat,

Check that there is nothing else in the way of the object on the track.

Where did the audio file come from? If it came from you then you should be able to place it where you want. If it came from Magix, then it may want to place itself on track 5.

When you move the audio file, make sure that you are in single mouse mode, not track or all tracks.

If all failts, give us a couple of screen shots.
