Music Maker won't play through headphones?

Hello, I am trying to configure my headphones to be the default audio input device for MusicMaker, but have no idea where to change the settings. For some reason this application ignores my headset (my default input device on Windows) and makes my speakers the default instead. Anyone else encounter this?

Hi

. . . . headphones to be the default audio input device for MusicMaker . . . .

Headphones are output devices, if they have a boom mic this is a separate device.

Are the headphones USB or 3.5mm stereo jack.

- USB should be set as the default output in Windows when they are plugged in, the audio should automatically route to the speakers when they are not plugged in.

- 3.5mm jack then either:

  1. the issue is in your audio card settings, check if auto detect is disabled or you are not acknowledging a popup asking you what you to confirm what was plugged in.

    OR

  2. If you are using an external sound card/device, the headphones should be plugged into it and not the computer, this may also need setting as the Output device in Windows
