Music Maker stuck on Initilizing midi when logged on as a non-administrator

I have just installed Music Maker 2016 and when logged in as a Student the program freezes on 'Initilizing Midi'. When logged in as an administrator it works fine. Anybody help me with this.

Get your IT people (if you have them) to see this topic - solution is at bottom of page. Do not attempt to go into the registry unless you are very confident knowing what you are doing.

Many thanks for the answer. Unfortunatly it does not provide a solution. It does open as an administrator but if you

do that then when a student goes to open or save as it gives them access to all administrator drives which obviously we cannot allow.
