I don't know why several instruments I don't have are showing up in my vst list, I didn't purchase them. How do I get rid of them, I think is affected my ability to download loops, I bought stranger synths and it took two hours to download then wouldn't open up.

Was your Music Maker possibly a bundle deal with Samplitude Music Studio, or do you have any older versions of Music Maker or (Samplitude) Music Studio installed on your system? If so, those instruments were probably installed by one of those other programs. In this case, just enter the serial number of that other program into the "Activate Edition" dialogue within Music Maker, and those instruments will be unlocked for you via the in-app store system free of charge.
