here is the reason for crashing .

when Project is set to 48 Khz , now Render out to .wav at 44.1 khz ,...Instant CRASH !

when Project is set to 44.1 khz , now Render out to .wav at 48 khz ,. Instant CRAHS !

i was running  music synthesizers for  days , no issues ,...perfect .

later ,  i  switch audio drivers to  Direct Sound to do  5.1 .
i switched back to  Magix  ASIO  to do  stereo .

i tried to  render a very short .wav on the  time line , to  .wav  file .
the render progress  box  stops and closed at about  20 % . No file was written .
about  4  tries  later ,  MM  crashed with a  Magix  dialogue box  to report the crash .

something happend in the  Kernal.dll  of  windows ,..low level stuff .

I closed MM , cause I had to use windows Audio properties to select a different sound device . re-launched MM to change audio driver in MM back to Magix ASIO . everything seemed ok at that point .

when  changing audio  drivers , it might be best  to  close  MM , or even reboot PC .

other then that ,  MM Premium 2018  has been  solid , solid code .
Samplitude is  solid code too .
