I have downloaded the 2020 trial version of Samplitude Studio because it supposed to work with registered MM instruments. Every time I try and use an MM instrument in a track I get a message saying that is not activated. Has any one else experienced this issue and if so how did you solve it?

Welcome to the Magix forums.
I think your difficulty is being caused by the fact that you are running a trial version of Samplitude. I understand that, once you have purchased and registered it, MM instruments, or at least some of them, should then be available in Samplitude.
Hopefully, a user of Samplitude will come along and confirm, or otherwise, my thoughts.
