Music Maker 2025 Premium+Loops Unlimited vs. Ultimate Vol.2????

I am trying to decide on buying Music Maker 2025 Preminum+Loops Unlimited or Music Maker 2025 Ultimate Vol.2. On Magix website, Premiun+Loops Unlimited upgrade is $119 with regular price at $297. Ultimate Vol.2 upgrade is $69 with the regular price at $781.80. Seems like a big price for Ultimate Vol.2 at regular price. Most reviews seem to only cover the Premium version. Even on Amazon and YouTube.

Anyone own these two versions of Music Maker? It is not clear but the 9k loops that come with Ultimate Vol.2 it says are royalty free even for commercial use (under licensing terms). It is not clear if the unlimited loops you can donwload for the 1 year duration are royalty free for commercial use also. The sale ends today I believe. Thanks.

@Vidifyall

Hi,

First, there is only 1 actual version of the program, just different components that get added depending on which flavour - Premium, Ultimate or Unlimited - you select.

For Ultimate - look at the 14 Soundpools that come with it. Are these ones that you want? Ultimate is perpetual everything and you get the Commercial license for the 14 Soundpools. For perpetual Soundpools, you download the ogg or the wave files - yours to keep and use forever.

For Unlimited - it is a 1 year subscription to all Soundpools. I suggest that you read everything carefully, as everything is well-described. Any Soundpools that you download will be .mxcogg, a proprietary Magix format. Stop paying the subscription and you can't use the loops that were obtained under Unlimited subscription. No commercial license either. If you find some Soundpools for which you want a commercial license, you can purchase it separately and download the ogg or wave files, yours to keep. This is all shown in the link.

@browj2

Thank you for your very detailed clarification. I have decided to upgrade to the Music Maker Ultimate Vol.2. I like the option of keeping the Soundpools forever. Thanks again. :-)
