Music maker 2021 premium audio files not transferring over.

I just purchased a new laptop for easier mobility with my music programs. I downloaded MMM onto the new laptop and was able to get all of my projects copied to it. I've noticed only my midi tracks were brought over and not the audio recordings I did with my guitar and mic. The song itself is there but it's missing the audio recordings. Is there anyway to fix this or do I need to re record all the parts? Ty!

@tommy-kelley

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Where, exactly, were those audio files saved on your old computer? Did you copy them to your new laptop to exactly the same location? IOW, if, e.g., they were in C:\...\...\..., they need to be in exactly that on your new laptop for MM to be able to find them.

Perhaps to explain a little more; MM project files contain no audio, only references to where, on your computer, the project-specific audio files can be found. The program will then load them from their saved location(s).

Sorry I'm a newbie to all of this. I may just be moving the wrong files then or skipping some all together. All the files in the documents folder match with with both computers. Are there files I have to move over from Local Disk (C:)?

Hi

Assuming you did not change any of the programs default folder settings - any recordings you made should be in the My Record folder, you can see this in your second image on both the old computer and your new laptop.

If they are not there look in the AudioTemp folder, also check the same folders on the old computer, to see if they are there.
