Music Maker 2016 (from Steam) VITA not found or installed.

jdeastman wrote on 10/25/2015, 1:14 AM

When I open MM2016.

The VITA instrument is not shown.

A lot of the loops will not play.  "The Vita plug-in was not found" message box is shown.

After a lot of research into fixes.  I have found others with same  problem.  No fixes.

I see no evidence of a VITA folder alongside the other synths.

On the opening dialog box there is no option for additional downloads.

On the Magix site download area requires a serial #.  None was listed in any email from Steam or Magix.

I've run into a lot of deadends.  Any advice?  Thanks.

Hi,

Avoid Steam.

See this tutorial, 2016 is about the same as 2015. The program comes in parts as you will see. I have no idea how you get the balance of the program from Steam.

Thanks browj2.  I gave up on Steam bought directly from site.
