Music Maker 16 download version

Hi,

I've just purchased mm16 download version, and would like to know about the soundpool. I have been able to download 5 styles via the download soundpacket options but thats all, and even those seem incomplete. As advertised on their website, there should be over 6000 instruments and 10 genres for said soundpool collection.

I have read on another post that the soundpool will be posted but I can't see this being plausible as no shipping costs were added at checkout and there is no mention of delivery on the invoice. This would also make the download version seem rather redundant as if i had known this, would have bought the boxed version as the maker without the soundpool is like a games console without games.

I am concerned as this wouldnt be the first time that i've bought an e-version from magix and it has been incomplete and inferior to a boxed version. Anyway, this is not a rant, merely a question and few observations, and I would be very grateful for any replies.

Thanks.

J

I would also like to know if there are any magix representatives that moderate these forums as my purchase of music maker 16 is indeed not as described and would very much like to discuss the sale of goods act. I have been a magix customer for 5 years now and feel really let down.  I've spent £50 and have nothing to show for it.

I have purchased I Music Maker 16 Premium "Download Version" 2 days ago and was wondering exactly the same thing. Except that my purchase confirmation email came with a *BLANK* download link and all my attempts to contact MAGIX have been turned down.

The email I have sent to the support address supplied in the purchase confirmation email was replied with a automatic answer claiming that I was "trying to circumvent their support system and will be ignored". I called the support phone number from the email and was greeted with a "this number is not currently in service" pre-recorded message. O_o;;

So I paid for the product and cannot get it. Despite of all my attemts to contact MAGIX, I keep being turned down by either email or phone. And now I read this here that the *Premium* "download version" doesn't even include what was listed in the Premium edition features list that compelled me to buy it....

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?

Hi ken,

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with the download link. Did you recieve an activation code however? If so, try downloading the trial version and then upgrading.

Prior to little support on the forum, I was suprised to see, about a week later, the magix soundpool collection 16 along with a pcvisit booklet and product code arrive through the post.  So I can confirm you will recieve these through the post.

This is very deceptive however because one would asume that buying the boxed version nets you a physical version of everything, and buying the download version nets you an e-copy of everything.

Hope you have luck my friend.

 Does anyone have the box set of MM16 that could list all the sounds and styles so we can compare? I have the same problems where I know we are not getting all the product available from the store-bought version.
