Music Maker 15 Won't Start

I purchased MM15 Premium Download (Trial) several days ago. I activated it per the instructions; however, it still says that it's a trial version. Now it won't even start. I click on the icon and the opening splash panel is displayed on the center of the screen. It indicates it is going through its initialization, but gets hung up when it says it is initializing the media pool. It just hangs there forever and won't timeout. I ultimately have to open the task manager and kill the process.

How do I proceed to use my software?

Windows XP Media Center Edition SP3
Dell Intel Core 2 CPU 6600 @ 2.4 GHz, 1 GB RAM

Same here, want to follow this. It worked for a time, but haven´t opened the application for about a month and it doesn´t startup anymore.

Sorry, I don't have the answer for you. I too seem to be suffering from this problem. I was working fine for months, but now it seems to have chosen to hang at the "initializing media pool" portion of the splash screen.

I do want to mention that I have MMM 15 Premium edition. It is installed on Windows 7 Ultimate edition (64-bit). I also want to say that I have this installed on a laptop also running Windows 7 Home Edition (64-bit). The laptop seems to have no problem running the program. I really don't know what has caused it to stop working on my desktop.

Quick Update. As I was paying attention to what Magix Music Maker was doing, I noticed that it would "flick" the screen quickly and then that would be it. That made me believe that it wasn't having issues with the media pool. The video display is the next item to initialize after the media pool. Going by what I saw, I rolled back my nvidia display drivers to 196.21.  That seems to have fixed the issue. It seems the current nvidia drivers where the cause of my issue.

It looks like it is the Robota.syn file there causes the problem.

Try renaming it til Robota.syn.old. That shouldt work.

Ofcourse you can´t use the robota drummaschine anymore. :-/
