When starting program, "you cannot run multiple Magix programs with intergated video recorder functionality at the same time" message appears. Nothing else is running that I know of. What can I do?

You must have MEP already running and tried to open it again to get this message.
This can either be: -
1. Deliberate - you can actually run 2 copies of MEP at the same time - just make sure you are not trying to edit the same project in both.
2. Not being patient after the first time you click start the program and clicking again
3. You are double clicking the program shortcut/menu item and it is trying to start twice.
4. MEP has failed to close down properly and left the process running, while you have done something else and tried to start MEP again - you can chek by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del and select Task Manager and see if the process is still running - depending on the version of MEP it will either be movieedit or videodeluxe. You can end the process if necessary - do not stop any other processes or you may have to restart your computer
