Hi,

Is your computer is online, you should just use the option to order the activation code online. The ID code is what you can retrieve under the post/fax activation button. However, if you use the correct button, you won't be prompted to enter the ID code manually. If you're offline, there's a phone activation option as well, where you can get the required code from an automatic phone system. Contact Magix support/sales if you're still having trouble getting this sorted.

I hope this helps.

What do I need to do to activate the MPEG-2 Codec....I downloaded an older version of Magix Photostory and It keeps on saying unfortunately the function MPEG-2 is not available due to licensing conditions !!!  This product is registered and I have never had a problem with this before. I restored my computer and now this happens !!!  I am on windows 10....Please help with this problem because I have an important event coming up in which I am responsible for the Photo DVD that is to be played !!!   Thanks for your help. Hi

@fowlline

Please do not resurrect old topics - this one is 8 years old, also when posting do not include email addresses, personal information or product serial numbers.

Please read this topic first then create a new post giving more information in particular computer specification, photostory fullname and version as it appears under Help, About . . , if Windows 10 was an update from 7 or 8 and, if an update, did this problem occur after the update.
