MP3 save format missing

I got a new computer, and I re-installed Sound Forge Pro 14, but now the MP3 format is missing from my "save as" file formats, and I must have this format. It was there on my old computer, but for some reason it is missing from my new computer, with the same Sound Forge Pro 14 version installed on both. Why is this happening?

@Alex-Lancaster This seems to be a problem with the copy protection.

Be sure to install the newest update which should solve this problem.

Thank You - I was able to install Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 & 3.0 separately, then I downloaded Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 again and it finally installed properly, and now the MP3 "save as" file format shows up, so that is a good work-around. However, I remember that Sound Forge Pro 14 itself also had the MP3 "save as" file format available on my old computer, but for some reason I cannot get MP3 to show up on my new computer. Both computers are running Windows 10 OS for PC, so I have no idea why MP3 is missing from Sound Forge Pro 14, but it shows up in Sound Forge Audio Studio 10. Very strange.

Hi! Whenever you have this problem in versions 13, 14, or 15, you can fix it by clicking File > Reset all preferences and cached data, check the box, click OK, then close and reopen the program. But, as SP wrote, the latest patches for 14 and 15 should have corrected this in those versions, so you shouldn't have to do that anymore
